Chatak Chandni

== Synopsis ==
The village damsel, 'Chatak Chandni' nicknamed by the villagers’ lives with her ever drunk father and her step-mother who hates her. She makes a living by selling lottery tickets outside the hotel of Shankaranna for survival. The chieftain of the village, the grocer and even Shankaranna have an eye for her.
Narya, the barber, who had comes from Mumbai to pay a visit to his mother is gauged this. He considers Chandni like his sister and since she is in love with the veteranian, he aides her with this affair but the vet gets transferred to another village.
Her father dies and Narya requests the villagers to help Chandni. Chandni's step-mother who is benefitted as a result announces that Chandni will marry the suitor who gets her 1 kg gold.
